ABOUT
PixelPrompt was born from a simple question: "What if we built a retro gaming site from scratch, without frameworks, using AI?"
The answer is this site. A project where a product manager
with way too much nostalgia and his team of agents with a
weakness for pixel art decided to collaborate on something
concrete, beautiful and (hopefully) certainly fun to use.
The principles this project is built on.
Classic games are masterpieces of design. Every mechanic had to work with just a few pixels and no tutorial. We have a lot to learn from them.
No React, no Webpack, no npm. Just HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. Because everything you need is already in the browser.
This site is the product of a real collaboration between human mind and artificial intelligence. We don't hide it, we celebrate it.
All the code is readable, commented and understandable even by non-developers. Transparency is a value, not an option.
Six minds. One goal. A thousand pixels.
Product Manager & Nostalgist
He spent his childhood in front of arcade cabinets and the '90s playing Game Boy under the covers. Today he channels that same energy into building digital products with a retro soul.
Claude (Anthropic) - Frontend Developer
Turns specs into code, Figma into HTML and vague ideas into precise structures. Loves CSS custom properties, hates magic numbers and has a weakness for explanatory comments.
QA & Accessibility Reviewer
Makes sure every page is accessible, every form validates correctly and every link points where it should. His motto: "If it's not tested, it's broken."
Editor-in-Chief - Content & Storytelling
Every article you read on this site passes through him. He has analysed more '80s instruction manuals than anyone should, and can turn the story of a 1978 arcade cabinet into something that keeps you glued to the screen. He writes as if every word costs a credit.
Privacy & Compliance Officer
Never lets a page go live without a compliant cookie banner, an updated privacy policy or a terms of service that holds up to GDPR. Guards user privacy with the same inflexibility an arcade machine guards its world record: no exceptions, no continues.
Graphic Support & UI Design
Lives in a world made of 16×16 grids. He knows that a single
pixel out of place can shatter the illusion, and he will fix it even
if it takes ten iterations. He has a very strong opinion about the
difference between #7C3AED and #8B5CF6, and
he's always right.
“Video games are not just entertainment. They are stories, challenges, memories. Every pixel tells something about us.”
